This is a field service technician position. The position requires continuous (100%) travel, sometimes carrying over several weeks, between multiple states and requires the technician to be able to perform his/her responsibilities at different hours of the day or night, to include split shifts. This position carries the following responsibilities, but may not be limited to just the following: Prepares hardware and equipment to be installed, for himself/herself or a higher level technician, equipment construction of battery racks, power plants and cable tray, or racking systems, performs simple test procedures, such as voltage and resistance tests, performs minor trouble shooting of equipment such as rectifiers, disconnects, power plants and battery plants, repairs minor problems found during the trouble shooting process, installs and upgrades components, parts, cable, equipment, and systems for backup DC Power. These items are limited to a non-hub site environment unless under the direct supervision of a level 3 or higher Responsibilities:

Technicians work with everything from DC power installation, battery back up installation and battery maintenance as well as ground resistance testing and field- related engineering services. Most jobs deal with +24V and/or -48V power systems with amperage ratings of 100 to 10,000 amps. AC and DC power experience is beneficial. You will be required to run and terminate all sizes of cable and be comfortable using various types of power tools as well as test equipment. Battery Services Tech's will either work with a team, performing load testing of DC Battery and Power Systems, or working independently to perform PMs on Battery Systems. Job Requirements:
Level III and IV – D/C Power Switch Installer (Eastern US)Job Description: This is a field service technician position. Engineer – DC Power Switch Sites (Southeast)Job Description: The primary goal of this engineer is to provide direct support to the ETAK Systems Switch Division DC Power installation group. They will be responsible for the development of quotes based on general customer provided scopes of work. They will create engineering design documents for all projects that will include power system sizing, battery sizing, circuit sizing and grounding considerations. They will be responsible for the development of all required supporting documentation that is not provided by the customer including CAD drawings and detailed methods of procedure. Additionally, they will work directly with the implementation project manager and installation crews to ensure that all work is performed correctly and in a quality manner that meets both customer and ETAK requirements and standards. This position is based out of the southeast, preferably near the Charlotte metro area. This position will require 75% travel. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Wireless/Cellular - R/F Field Service Technician (All locations)Job Description: This is a field service technician position. The position requires continuous (100%) travel, sometimes carrying over several weeks, between multiple states and requires the technician to be able to perform his/her responsibilities at different hours of the day or night, to include split shifts. This position carries the following responsibilities, but may not be limited to just the following: Prepares hardware and equipment to be installed, for himself/herself or a higher level technician, construction of RF and antenna systems, placement of RF coaxial cables and respective terminations on each type. Performs testing procedures, not limited to multi-meters for measurement of voltage and current, return loss test equipment, measurement of passive intermodulation (PIM), and assesses results to determine corrective action like: repairing minor problems found during the trouble shooting process, installing and upgrading components, parts, cable, equipment, and systems. Operate and maintain microwave equipment and effectively trouble shoot problems with hardware, translations and Telco issues. Must be open to work with other teams performing battery audits, DC power installation and decom, and other items as they arise. Multi vendor work preferred: Lucent, Motorola, Ericsson, and Nortel.
Responsibilities:
Job Requirements: 1) Valid Driver’s License with good driving record 2) Associates or Technical degree from college, or High School Degree /GED and military training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3) 5 to 7 years experience in R/F for wireless communications environment, such as cellular telephone, commercial two way radio, paging, or public safety communication 4) Computer skills – Microsoft office products, ability to establish wireless internet connectivity over a wide range of conditions due to travel. Great Plains experience a plus 5) Excellent interpersonal skills 6) Professional demeanor 7) Good Multi-tasker who is organized, makes decisions, and has excellent time management 8) Must Pass DOT Physical, Prehire Drug Screen, and background check 9) Must be able to lift 100 pounds regularly unassisted 10) Must be able to travel 100%
